We are a family of 5 and would like a small holding to rent long term, we want the 'good life' accommodation would need to be at least 3 bedrooms to accommodate 3 boys aged 3,11 & 13yrs.

My husband and I are in our mid 50s and are looking for a small piece of land to rent. We don't mind if it has living accomodation on or not, as long as it has the necessary services so that we can supply our own. We would like enough land to have a few small animals and use as a small overnight campsite for tents.
Anything considered as we are open minded and eager to get going. I have lots of experience with working with the elderly, so I can do part time caring or housekeeping in return if required.
Both of us have worked in hospitality so we have th eknowledge to set up a small business.
Area required is West Sussex, and preferably within a half hour drive of Worthing for my part time work.

We bought our farmhouse and smallholding in central France in 2005 but in 2006 my husband fell ill, we are now looking for a house exchange to a smaller semi-rural to rural property in the UK or France. The house is four bedroom, 2 downstairs, 2 upstairs, large lounge, fitted kitchen and bathroom with further room suitable for convertion upstairs, central heating if needed and large wood burner in lounge. The house is in good order but we are unable to decorate or care for the land.There is a large open barn/ grange, a small byre, two storage areas and a garage all situated on around an acre of land. I have a 7 acre property in the Dordogne in France. Lived there for 5 years, growing organic veg in a very productive garden. The polytunnel and tractor are still there, although probably past it now. Kept chickens and had a good 5 years. Wife has lost interest - she has got a good job now in the uk.
I really don't know what to do with it. The property has 2 /3 bedrooms, and is in a lovely location, has an attatched barn. I spent some time doing building work, but still needs work doing to it. I had it valued 9 months ago, and the agent said between 110 -120 thousand euros. Don't know if this is the sort of thing somebody might be interested in?

I am looking to rent a small holding (long term) next year - possibbly from about Sept 2010.
If not an actual small holding, then a rural property with some land 1 acre or slightly more.
I am selling my own property, and would ideally like somewhere I could start a small boarding cattery.
I have dogs/cats of my own (I do not breed).
No children.
Non smoker.
I am based in the North West - but more than willing to move, if the right property became available.
References can be obtained.

I am looking for a smallholding with a bit of land approx 0.5 acres as I have german shepherds and want to breed them. I also want somewhere quiet with enough room for my mum as I look after her and she has alzheimers
I would like to do the work i.e kennels etc or decorating in the house myself ans would assure a good standard

Hello,
we are looking for a smallholding rental in the berkshire/hampshire/w.sussex region. Ideally we need 4 bedroom and 2 reception rooms, at least an acre of land and several outbuilding which can be converted to provide a veterinary physio service. We have a very well behave dog, but are looking to have another dog in the future. The rental will have to be long term and we will not mind doing work on the property. Smallholding wanted to rent any area considered would like somewhere long term, must have 3 beds min, and land/outbuildings if possible. We have 2 goats, 2 mini shetlands, 6 show dogs and cats, cats live mainly outdoors in their own custom built run. Would like rural with no neighbours preferably, upto £700 pcm.
