The website has a new forum messageboard covering a range of subjects from vegetable gardening to birdwatching. If you are looking for advice or inspiration then why not create a post and wait to see if one of the many visitors with great knowledge and experience can help you out. There is no need to register, just choose a subject category clcik on it, then create a post, using a name to identify your addition. No need to wait for passwords or usernames.
You can visit the forum HERE
Last year the site had a diary page that required visitors to send in info via email then wait for it to be uploaded. The good news is now there is an automatic calendar facility which allows people to upload their events, with full info about date, time, notes etc and this then appears when people click on the day you are holding the event. It also allows people to search for events. So for example if you live close to Castle Howard, by typing this in the calendar search, it will bring up any events in the future that are being held there that have been entered onto the calendar database.
So whether you are holding a church garden fete, a large garden show, a nature walk, a course at a city farm , or a conference on renewable technology then please do upload the details. It is free and the site receives hundreds of thousands of page views a year, so it is great exposure for your event.
