Merry Christmas To All World Wide Readers

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

A big Happy Christmas to all our readers from across the UK and also to the many readers from around the world from Chile to China, from Norway to New Zealand. The site started this time last year and I set the target of 100,000 page views. The site has so far received over 155,000 page views this year, so the target has been well and truly smashed. Next year will see the site grow with more features, more articles, more videos etc!!

Also the 'sister site' Planetreport.net which will report on nature conservation efforts and national park news from across the globe will becoming a lot more active. It started the same time as gardenandgreen.co.uk, but all efforts have been focussed on this site up until now.

2009 seems as though it is going to be a tough year economically in the UK and elsewhere. The good news is many garden and green activities are low cost and are a perfect stress reliever. A country walk, or even a walk in your local city park or maintaining a small veg patch cost just about nothing and are the perfect anti stress antidote to help take your mind of any financial troubles you might have. If you are reading this and have never bothered much with gardening or nature, why not make 2009 the year you give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
