The mystery of the Loch Ness monster has fascinated generations of Brits and people from around the world. There has been many sighting, since a famous photo taken in 1933, and a lot of these were proved to be elaborate hoaxes. However, despite sonar studies of the Loch and no definite sightings, many people still long for 'Nessie' to be a real sea creature, that has bred in the loch after somehow being cut off from the sea, many millenia ago.
In recent years sightings have reduced, which led to some experts conclude that changing climatic conditions could have made the Loch unable to support such a creature, and that perhaps if there was some sort of creature in the loch it might have finally died off.
HOWEVER, Nessie fever has started again with the news that an internet surfer who was browsing Google Earth, which is an amazing site that has taken satelite images of the earths surface, was looking at Loch Ness and what did he notice? THIS!!!!

So perhaps ol Nessie has lived to see another day?
