Bespoke Cedar Greenhouses in Classic Designs

White Cottage Greenhouses is a family business, whose inspiration came about from John Tomlins's wartime memories of gardening with his grandfather, as his father fought overseas in the British Army. It was these memories forged with a career in engineering design that resulted in his first greenhouses being made for sale in 1980. Since then the company has grown to be a leading manufacturer of quality bespoke greenhouses. The company is run by John Tomlins's son who continues to fuse the latest in materials with classic designs to make

built to last greenhouses, that are also a real value adding garden feature for any home.

All greenhouses are installed by the company and are made individually to order. All our greenhouses are made from timber and the wood used is Western Red Cedar, renowned for it's quality and suitability for greenhouse construction. Our greenhouses come in three design types.

Edwardian Greenhouses

Our Edwardian Greenhouses are available as either a lean to greenhouse or freestanding greenhouses. Made in size and lengths to suit your requirements and an unusual site limitations or conditions are considered at the design stage. All staging and shelving are bespoke to each greenhouse, depending on what the customer would like.

Victorian Greenhouse
The Victorian Greenhouse is our highest specification design greenhouse. Heavy ornate, timbers are used to give the greenhouses a classic Victorian style. Each greenhouse is computer designed and are available as free standing greenhouses, lean to greenhouses; mono pitch and 3/4 span. Cedar staging and shelving in a variety of configurations.

Deco Greenhouse

The Deco Greenhouses have been designed using the same methods and materials, the only difference is their smaller size, standard design and as a result lower price. They are perfect for the smaller or city garden. Similar in appearance to the Edwardian, the Deco Greenhouses are all 6ft 1in wide, and come in three length options;
6ft 7in, 8ft 2in and 9ft 8in

All three greenhouse styles are painted in one of fourteen subtle period colours of your choosing.
