Brigit's Garden takes you on a magical journey through the sacred spiral of the seasons into the heart of Celtic heritage and mythology, making it one of the truly outstanding environmental and cultural heritage centres in Ireland.
Themed on the Celtic seasonal festivals, Brigit's Garden is widely regarded as one of the most spectacular gardens in Ireland set within 11 acres of native woodland & wildflower meadows. Its features include: a nature trail, ogham trees, children's discovery trail, living willow play area, an ancient ring fort (fairy fort), Roundhouse and calendar sundial, the largest in Ireland. We offer a full calendar of family-friendly special events throughout the year.
Our high-standard facilities and tranquil surroundings make Brigit’s Garden the ideal venue for hire for weddings, off-site meetings and special events. We cater to groups of all kinds, including sacred site tours. A visit to Brigit's Garden offers an experience that will last a lifetime!

From Galway city, follow the N59 towards Clifden. Brigit’s Garden is signposted on the N59, half way between the villages of Moycullen and Oughterard, about 20 mins drive from Galway city.

FOOD & DRINK
The Garden Café offers excellent cuisine made with organic ingredients fresh from the gardens whenever possible. Recommended in The Bridgestone Guide and in Georgina Campbell's 'The Best of the Best' places to eat in Ireland, our menu features hearty soups, garden-fresh salads and delicate quiches, mouth-watering home baked cakes, scones and tarts. To complement your meal we offer an assortment of fair-trade teas and freshly brewed coffee, and a selection of quality wines and beers. We can cater for groups by arrangement at any time of the year. The Garden Café is open to all, with no admission charge.
