The gardens were landscaped in the 50ths out of a medieval farm, The ten acres are planted with a fine and interesting collection of trees and shrubs and the undulating lawns and surprising vistas make it a delightful and natural garden to walk around.The height of colour is in May,but climbing roses, a superb collection of Hydrangeas and
Autumn colour make this a truly garden for all seasons!

Many fine trees including Firs,Oaks,pines, Acers, tallest Eucryphia in Kent.Kalopanax and fine collection of Acers. Philadelphus, Climbing roses,Viburnums,many varieties of Hudrangeas, island beds.Water garden.

There is an interesting Church to visit with modern murals and a Rural Life collection by appointment.The gardens are near Faversham, Ashford, and Canterbury, home to the world heritage status Canterbury Cathedral dating back to 597 AD and featured in Chaucers Canterbury Tales.
