Nature - Barn Owl Nest LIVE Online

The Barn Owl Trust has rigged up its cameras in readiness for this years Twitawoo-rific show! People around the world can watch the Barn Owl Nest tucked away in deepest Cornwall on a traditional English Farm, from the comfort of their own computer desks. The Barn Owl Trust is the the main UK conservation charity promoting the welfare of this stunning creature.

They promote wildlife friendly habitats and monitor the Barn Owl population as well as educating the public about this nocturnal bird of prey.

The trust has two cameras set up so people can watch the developments down on the farm in Cornwall, where Barn Owls have nested since 1994. The first NESTCAM, is a camera inside the nest box filming mating, incubation and hatchings, and BARNCAM has been set up outside the box, inside the Barn. This camera will go live once there is more action happening outside. The trust is also maintaining a NESTCAM diary page on its website, so if people miss any action they can be kept updated with news and recorded video.

So why not set the site as a favourite, you'd been an unwise owl not to....or should that be not tawiTo... OK ENOUGH OF THE OWL JOKES.

Do you know of any other sites with WILD cams?

  1. I was once lucky enough to see a SNOWY OWL on a trip to the Orkney Isles. It was a most impressive sight.
